Cowra Japanese Gardens & Scenic Country Tour

From AUD $155.00
  • Duration: 7 Hours (approx.)
  • Location: Bathurst, NSW
  • Product code: PMEKGD

This is a beautiful country drive. Rather than travelling the highway, we enjoy the scenery of the back country roads. Stopping at Lookouts, admiring the old railway towns and beautiful old country manors along the way.

We stop for a freshly prepared morning tea in the quaint old village of Carcoar. This village has amazing churches, beautiful gardens, shops and a main street that hasn’t changed much in over 100 years.

In Cowra we take in an amazing Hologram story of the Cowra Breakout. We visit the actual site of the break out in August 1942. You’ll see and enjoy the Cowra Japanese Gardens and to top off the town visit, we call in to see the famous World Peace Bell. There are lots of nice places in Cowra to stop for lunch and one popular spot with our Guests is the cafe at the Japanese Gardens.

This is a lovely tour for those who enjoy a pleasant drive through the country and wish to learn more about the surrounding towns and war efforts.
